Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the flour, yogurt, and cumin seeds. Season with a pinch of salt. Use your hands to mix everything together until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll or stretch each piece into a flatbread about 0.5 centimeters thick.
- Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Spray the pan with cooking spray.
- Add the naan breads to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the crushed garlic.
- Brush the cooked naan breads with the garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped coriander, if using.
- Serve warm with your favorite curry or other dishes.
Tips:
- You can use whole wheat flour for a more nutritious option.
- If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour, one tablespoon at a time, until it becomes manageable.
- You can also cook the naan breads in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 5-7 minutes per side.
- For freezing, cook the naan breads as instructed, then let them cool completely. Wrap them individually in plastic wrap and store in the freezer for up
- to 3 months. Reheat in a pan or oven until warmed through.
