Instructions:
- Prepare for Baking: Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) / Gas Mark 4. Lightly spray your 9×13 inch baking pan with low-calorie cooking spray.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, empty the entire packet of dry angel cake mix. Pour in the entire can of crushed pineapple, including all its juice.
- Mix Well: Stir the ingredients together thoroughly with a whisk or spoon until there are no dry spots left from the cake mix. Don’t worry if the mixture looks very foamy – that’s perfectly normal!
- Bake: Pour the batter evenly into your prepared baking pan.
- Cook to Perfection: Bake for the time suggested on your specific angel cake mix box for a 9×13 inch pan (usually between 30 and 40 minutes). You’ll know it’s done when the edges of the cake start to pull away from the sides of the pan and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool: Once baked, remove the pan from the oven and place it on a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
